We are seeking a talented Podcast Specialist who can take ownership of the growth and distribution of our podcast. The ideal candidate will be passionate about podcasts, deeply understand Instagram and YouTube, and have strong technical skills in video production (camera angles, lighting, editing). What will you do at Fynd?
- Develop and execute creative social media campaigns to grow the podcast’s audience and engagement.
- Strategize and manage podcast distribution across platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, etc.).
- Create high-quality, engaging short-form video clips from podcast episodes tailored for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other channels.
- Ensure professional-level production, including camera setup, lighting, and editing for both in-studio and remote podcast recordings.
- Build and nurture a community around the podcast, engaging with followers, responding to comments/messages, and fostering meaningful discussions.
- Collaborate with the marketing and partnerships team to bring brands on board and create monetization opportunities.
- Track and analyze podcast and social media performance metrics, sharing insights and recommendations to improve growth.
- Work closely with hosts, guests, designers, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive branding and storytelling across all platforms.
- Stay updated with podcasting, Instagram, and YouTube trends, ensuring our content remains fresh, innovative, and ahead of the curve.
Some specific requirements:
- 2–3 years of proven experience managing and growing podcasts and social media channels (Instagram + YouTube expertise is a must).
- Hands-on experience with video production: camera operations, lighting setups, and editing.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
- Strong understanding of social media audiences and how to tailor content for maximum reach and engagement.
- Excellent people skills – comfortable interacting with guests, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing communities.
- Ability to generate innovative ideas for content, distribution, and brand partnerships.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Enthusiasm for podcasts and a deep understanding of the podcasting ecosystem.
