About the Role
As an SDE 1/2/3/4/EM – Python Fullstack, you will lead a team of full-stack engineers working on scalable web applications, backend services, and cloud-based platforms. You will be responsible for the technical architecture, team leadership, and product delivery, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of full-stack developers (Python, React.js, Node.js, etc.).
- Drive technical excellence, code quality, and best engineering practices.
- Define and implement scalable system architectures for high-performance applications.
Technical Strategy & Architecture
- Own the end-to-end technical design for Python Fullstack applications.
- Optimize database structures, backend APIs, and frontend performance.
- Ensure microservices-based architecture, CI/CD automation, and cloud scalability.
Team & Project Management
- Hire, mentor, and develop top engineering talent.
- Manage agile development processes, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
Technical Stack & Development
- Backend: Python, Django/FastAPI, Node.js
- Frontend: React.js, Next.js
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
- DevOps & Cloud: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
- Tools: Git, Jira, Elasticsearch, Kafka
Performance & Security
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement security best practices, authentication, and authorization (OAuth, JWT).
- Monitor and improve system observability using logging, monitoring, and alerting tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
- Expertise in Python full-stack development (Django/FastAPI for backend, React.js for frontend).
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
- Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and DevOps automation.
- Hands-on experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and system design expertise.
Good-to-Have
- Experience with AI/ML, big data, or analytics-driven applications.
- Knowledge of serverless architectures and edge computing.
- Familiarity with GraphQL, WebSockets, and real-time data processing.
- Experience with e-commerce, SaaS, or fintech platforms.
