Fynd Create is building a scaled sourcing and manufacturing platform for domestic and international brands. We are looking for an exceptional sourcing leader to build and lead this function at scale.

This is a high-impact business leadership role for someone with deep apparel sourcing experience, strong brand credibility, and the ability to build a world-class sourcing organization. The mandate spans client confidence, vendor ecosystem strategy, commercial governance, compliance, execution reliability, and team building across a large and fast-scaling business.

Role mandate

Lead the sourcing function for Fynd Create across domestic and export business, with full ownership of supplier strategy, client-facing sourcing leadership, manufacturing partner governance, compliance readiness, delivery reliability, and team capability build-out.

What will you do at Fynd?
  • Build and lead the sourcing organization for a large-scale domestic and export business.
  • Serve as the senior sourcing partner for brands and key accounts on capability, feasibility, quality, compliance, and execution confidence.
  • Develop a high-quality vendor ecosystem across relevant categories, geographies, and price/value segments.
  • Drive sourcing strategy across cost competitiveness, speed, quality, flexibility, capacity, and risk diversification.
  • Establish robust governance for supplier performance, capacity planning, service levels, business reviews, and escalation management.
  • Lead commercial and operational decision-making for large accounts, strategic programs, and complex sourcing requirements.
  • Create a strong operating model across sourcing, merchandising, production coordination, and supplier management teams.
  • Build processes and leadership bandwidth to support scale measured in high-value annual business throughput.
  • Partner with sales, finance, legal, operations, and product teams to ensure commercially sound and execution-ready business commitments.
  • Strengthen the use of existing technology platforms and data-driven workflows to improve visibility, predictability, and control.
  • Own sourcing risk management across supplier concentration, execution failure, compliance gaps, geopolitical exposure, and delivery disruption.
  • Represent Fynd Create with senior stakeholders across brands, factories, and strategic partners.

Some Specific Requirements
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in apparel sourcing, manufacturing, export merchandising, or supply organization building.
  • Strong track record of leading large sourcing businesses with high-value revenue or GMV responsibility.
  • Deep network across apparel manufacturers, export houses, and factory partners in India; international sourcing exposure is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to work with large brands, retail chains, or institutional buyers on sourcing, manufacturing, and execution discussions.
  • Strong experience across vendor identification, supplier development, factory capability assessment, and long-term sourcing partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams across sourcing, merchandising, quality, and supply execution.
  • Strong business judgment, negotiation maturity, and executive presence.
  • Ability to balance growth, margins, service levels, and risk in a fast-scaling environment.

Export and compliance expertise required
  • Strong understanding of export-oriented sourcing and client servicing requirements.
  • Familiarity with buyer compliance expectations across social, ethical, environmental, and product standards.
  • Working knowledge of supplier audit and responsible sourcing frameworks such as Sedex, WRAP, and SLCP is highly preferred. Sedex positions itself around supply-chain transparency and responsible sourcing; WRAP focuses on responsible production compliance; SLCP's framework is used to streamline social/labor assessments.  
  • Good understanding of brand compliance expectations around factory practices, worker welfare, traceability, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with export-market product and regulatory expectations is preferred, especially where relevant to apparel programs. For example, US apparel sold into the market is subject to flammability requirements under 16 C.F.R. Part 1610, while children's products can trigger additional CPSIA requirements; EU-market textiles must comply with REACH restrictions.  
  • Ability to engage with brands on compliance readiness, factory selection, audit preparedness, and risk mitigation.
